My case counts!
Many people who experienced Anti-Muslim hatred often wonder whether their own experience is “bad enough” or sometimes don’t even know where to find support or help. This is where the “My case counts!” campaign comes in: With targeted information materials, CLAIM aims to inform affected people about free and anonymous support and reporting options.
Anti-Muslim racism manifests itself in many different ways.
For example:
- if you are attacked, insulted or threatened on the street,
- if you are spat at / physically attacked on the way to the mosque,
- if you are discriminated against at work or when looking for accommodation,
- if you are treated unequally at school or in hospital because of your name, appearance, language and/or religion,
anti-Muslim graffiti in public spaces / at Islamic institutions.
Why it is important to report an incident and/or get free help:
- Counseling centers offer free, confidential and, if desired, anonymous help.
- Counseling centers can help you report an incident and provide legal advice. They can help to enforce rights.
- Report anti-Muslim racism for better measures against racism and better visibility: Every report improves the database on anti-Muslim attacks and discrimination. In this way, protection needs can be identified and measures to combat them can be expanded. At the same time, anti-Muslim racism can only be made visible if it is reported. We must count every case!
You can report the incident easily and anonymously online using our I-Report reporting form. All reports are anonymized and treated confidentially.
Each report improves the database on anti-Muslim attacks and discrimination. This means that measures to combat this can be better developed.
You are an advice center and would like to (re)order free information material?
You can reorder the information materials in the form of A1 posters, flyers or postcards free of charge. The materials are available in Arabic, Turkish, English and German.
